Junior Spartans Football

Open to 5th-8th Grade Students

4th Grade students are welcome to "play up" on our 5th Grade Team

Regular Season runs August - October. Practices start in early August, with 8 games running from late August through October

August practices are 5 days a week, Monday - Friday evenings, at Burleigh Elementary School

September and October practices are 3 days a week during the evening, at Brookfield East High School

Saturday's starting in late August and running through October

Approximate Game Times:

8th Grade: 9:00am

7th Grade: 10:45am

6th Grade: 12:15pm

5th Grade: 1:45pm

The club provides the following:

• Helmet
• Guardian Cap (must be worn at practice)
• Shoulder Pads
• Knee Pads
• Game and Practice Uniforms
• Belt
• Basic Mouthguard

All players are required to purchase girdles for use during the duration of the season. Girdles can be purchased through your sporting goods store of choice, and must include thigh, hip and tailbone pads.

Football Cleats should also be purchased.

If you require a specific mouth guard for orthodontic reasons, you will need to buy one that is specific for your needs.

Parent Volunteers are crucial to the success of the Jr. Spartans Football Program.

Families will be responsible for 6 volunteering hours throughout the season.

There will be an option to pay a $250 Opt Out Fee during the Registration process.
